These voyages are suitable for groups of 8 young people accompanied by a leader. All our voyages are inclusive of food, mooring fees and the use of lifejackets and waterproofs.
Friday Evening - Start your Adventure. Depart Ipswich Haven Marina and take a gentle cruise down the River Orwell to Buttermans Bay where you will anchor for the night. After hot chocolate, settle into your bunk for a peaceful nights sleep.
Saturday - Down to the sea. After a hearty breakfast, pull up the anchor, hoist the sails and sail out of the estuary to the sea. Pass through Felixstowe port and see the container ships. Weather and tides permitting you may cruise down the coast to the port of Brightlingsea or Bradwell to spend the night. Alternatively head out to sea and circumnavigate the Cork Sand and pass by Sealand and return to spend the night at Harwich. Everybody on board gets a go at steering, hoisting and trimming sails, cooking and washing up!
Sunday - The return. Set sail to explore the creeks and sites of the of the Orwell and Stour estuary before returning to Ipswich. You will be presented with a certificate to commemorate your voyage. We hope you enjoyed your voyage and would love to see you again.
