“Catalyst” - from 10 years old

• Ideal starter voyage for those too young to sail on a full Explorer Voyage but great for all ages!

Itinerary
You will arrive at our boats in Ipswich Haven Marina, where you will be met by some of our friendly sea staff. They will give you a tour of the boats, a quick safety briefing, and then you’ll be straight out of the dock to start your adventure.

Over the following 2 days, develop your sailing skills whilst exploring the famous coastline of the East of England, including seeing the world's biggest container ships as you pass through the Port of Felixstowe. Right from the start you will be involved in all aspects of life on board, including steering, hoisting sails and taking your turn to help prepare a meal for the whole crew.

Most evenings the boat will go back to harbour somewhere on the East Coast, so there will be a chance to relax after your day’s sailing.

Our weekend catalyst voyages count towards the RYA Start Yachting certificate. We also hope this trip acts like a catalyst… and encourages you to book longer voyages with us.
